Carbon Adsorption System

System consisting of a tank or container that contains a specific quantity of activated carbon. For the purposes of this subaprt, a carbon adsorption system is used as a control device for storage vessels. Typically, the spent carbon bed does not undergo regeneration, but is replaced.
