Carbon Adsorber
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-004141
1. One vessel in a series of vessels in a carbon adsorption system that contains carbon and is used to remove gaseous pollutants from a gaseous emission source.
2. Control device consisting of a single fixed carbon bed, multiple carbon beds or columns, carbon filter packs or modules, and other variations that uses activated carbon to remove pollutants from a gas stream.
3. Bed of activated carbon into which an airperchloroethylene gas-vapor stream is routed and which adsorbs the perchloroethylene on the carbon.
