Cholinesterase-Inhibiting Pesticide

1. Organophosphates and the Carbamates.

2. Acetylcholinesterase inhibiting pesticides (which, for brevity, we will refer to as cholinesterase inhibitors) are chemicals whose primary toxic effect is to block the normal breakdown of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine.
