Desorption

1. Desorption is the process by which inorganic nutrients are released from the surface of particles back into solution.
2. Regeneration of a carbon adsorber by removal of the perchloroethylene adsorbed on the carbon.
3. Process of using low pressure steam or hot nitrogen gas to remove compounds from an adsorbent bed.
