Dose Rate

1. In exposure assessment, dose per time unit (e.g. mg/day), sometimes also called dosage.
2. Dose per unit time.
3. The amount of radiation dose delivered per unit of time.
4. Dose per unit time, for example in mg/day, sometimes also called dosage. Dose rates are often expressed on a per-unit body-weight basis, yielding units such as mg/kg/day (mg/kg-day). They are also often expressed as averages over some time period, for example a lifetime.
