Fenton-driven in-situ chemical oxidation
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-030754
An aggressive remediation technology that has been applied to a wide range of volatile and semivolatile hazardous contaminants, including DNAPL source zones and the dissolved-phase chemicals emanating rom the source zones. Fenton-driven ISCO has been deployed at a large number of sites and involves a variety of approaches and methods involving the use of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and iron (Fe).
