Fish Kills

1. Refers to large numbers of fish being killed, usually because there is not enough oxygen in the water or because of a chemical spill.
2. Fish kills are large numbers of dead fish in a localized area - may be due to water conditions such as low flow, high temperature, low oxygen levels, harmful algal blooms, or spills of oil or toxic pollutants.
