Henry's law constant

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-013158

  1. 1. The ratio of the concentration of a compound in air (or vapor) to the concentration of the compound in water under equilibrium conditions. Henry's Law Constants are temperature dependent.

    2. The ratio of the concentration of a compound in air (or vapor) to the concentration of the compound in water under equilibrium conditions.

  2. (Kн) Ratio of vapor pressure to water solubility; provides an index of partitioning for a compound between atmospheric and aqueous phases.
