Improvised Nuclear Device

An illicit nuclear weapon that was bought, stolen, or otherwise originated from a nuclear state. Improvised nuclear devices may also be fabricated by a terrorist group from illegally obtained fissile nuclear weapons material. These devices are destructive and produce a nuclear explosion that gives off four types of energy: a blast wave, intense light, heat, and radiation.
