In Situ Biological Treatment

The treatment of contaminated soils with an alternative technology process whereby the organic components of hazardous waste are biologically decomposed or alterd under controlled conditions to a state which is either non-toxic or less toxic than its pretreatment. The treatment is applied without the excavation of the materials to be treated.
