In Situ Physical/Chemical Treatment

This treatment uses the physical properties of the contaminants or the contaminated medium to destroy (i.e., chemically convert), separate, or contain the contamination without being excavated or transported. Treatment technologies include electrokinetic separation, fracturing, soil flushing, soil vapor extraction and solidification/stabilization.
