Inorganic Compounds

1. Chemical compounds that do not contain carbon, usually associated with life processes; for example, metals are inorganic.
2. Compounds composed of mineral materials, including elemental salts and metals such as iron, aluminum, mercury, and zinc.
3. Chemical substances of mineral origin, not of basically carbon structure.
