Laser induced fluorescence

1. A method for measuring the relative amount of soil and/or groundwater contamination with an in situ sensor. Laser light is transmitted to the sensor, where it fluoresces in proportion to the concentration of petroleum hydrocarbons adjacent to the sensor.
