  "definition": "1. A conditional discharge limit imposed by a municipality upon industrial or commercial facilities that discharge to the municipal sewage treatment system.\n\n2. Specific discharge limits developed and enforced by POTWs upon industrial or commercial facilities (IUs) to implement the general and specific discharge prohibitions listed in 40 CFR 403.5(a)(1) and (b). [40 CFR 403.5(c)]\n\n3. Where specific prohibitions or limits on pollutants or pollutant parameters are developed by a POTW in accordance with § 403.4(c), such limits must be deemed Pretreatment Standards for the purposes of CWA section 307(d).",
