Millirem

Rem (historically standing for “roentgen equivalent man”) is the special name for the unit of dose equivalent (or effective dose). One millirem is one thousandth of a rem or 0.001 rem. The special name for the SI unit of effective dose is the Sievert; 1 mrem = 0.01 mSv.
