Pollutant load

1. The amount of pollutants entering a waterbody. Loads are usually expressed in terms of a weight and a time frame, such as pounds per day (lb/d).
2. The amount of a type of pollution that the Bay and its tributaries receive.
3. Amount of a substance entering the environment (e.g., soil, water, pollutants, air).
