Post-Decontamination Sampling
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-021700
1. Assessment of the body of data generated to verify that the originally contaminated environment has been sufficiently decontaminated to meet cleanup endpoints. As part of this sampling, a body of data of adequate quantity and quality is developed to enable Incident Command (IC)/Unified Command (UC) to verify that the originally contaminated environment has been sufficiently decontaminated to allow re-occupancy of the area without the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) or other protective measures.
