Precipitation process

1. The process by which atmospheric moisture falls onto a land or water surface as rain, snow, hail, or other forms of moisture.

2. Water that falls from clouds to the ground. This can be in the form of rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc.

3. The process where water vapor condenses in the atmosphere to form water droplets that fall to the Earth as rain, sleet, snow, hail, etc.
