Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-022419
1. The relationship between production of an output and one, some, or all of the resource inputs used in accomplishing the assigned task. It is measured as a ratio of output per unit of input over time. It is a measure of efficiency and is usually considered as output per person-hour.
2. The efficiency with which a person performing a specific function does a job, or the output of a worker under specific environments and conditions.
3. Common surrogate for yield data, often expressed as pounds of human food chain organisms present per acre per year. Productivity data are not equivalent to production estimates and cannot be used for HRS purposes.
