1. Radioactive particle, man-made (anthropogenic) or natural, with a distinct atomic weight number. Can have a long life as soil or water pollutant.
2. Any man-made or natural element that emits radiation and that may cause cancer after many years of exposure through drinking water.
3. Distinct radioactive particles coming from both natural sources and human activities. Can be very long lasting as soil or water pollutants.
4. Radioactive isotopes or unstable forms of elements.
