Tilting reverberatory furnace

Metallurgical or process furnace that isolates the material being processed from contact with fuel, but allows contact with combustion gases. It tilts to allow melted contents to pour out of the furnace into a casting machine, as opposed to other reverberatory furnaces that are stationary, rotating, or rocking.
