Translation Process

1. A Translation Process consists of enzymatic reactions by which polypeptides are synthesized on ribosomes from information in mRNA transcripts to specify the sequence of amino acids in the polypeptide chain.

2. The process of synthesizing an amino acid sequence (protein product) from the messenger RNA code.
