1. The change in a series of data over a period of years that remains after the data have been adjusted to remove seasonal and cyclical fluctuations.
2. Trend evaluations require several estimates of conditions often over longer time periods, e.g., the trend in nitrate concentration in the Santiam River at its confluence with the Willamette River during the last 4 decades.
3. Any set of RSEI results across two or more years.
