Utility Infrastructure Pricing to Support Infill Development

Revising utility pricing and cost recovery structures to reflect the true cost of energy delivery supports development in existing communities. It is less expensive to provide energy service for infill development than to provide service for greenfield sites that require additional power lines. Compact development also consumes less energy per unit.
