Vehicle service class

Vehicle's weight class as specified in this definition. Note that, while vehicle service class is similar to primary intended service class for engines, they are not necessarily the same. For example, a medium heavy-duty vehicle may include a light heavy-duty engine. Note also that while spark-ignition engines do not have a primary intended service class, vehicles using spark-ignition engines have a vehicle service class.
