1. Any type of surface water, such as a stream, lake, or wetland.
2. A geographically defined portion of navigable waters, waters of the contiguous zone, and ocean waters under the jurisdiction of the United States, including segments of rivers, streams, lakes, wetlands, coastal waters and ocean waters.
3. A Waterbody in How’s My Waterway can be a river, stream, lake or other type of water that has been assessed by the state. The assessed area may be an entire waterbody or just a segment of an individual river, stream, lake, pond, or wetland.
