Receiving water

1. The "Water of the United States" as defined in 40 CFR 122.2 into which the regulated stormwater discharges.
2. Creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, estuaries, groundwater formations, or other bodies of water into which surface water, treated waste, or untreated waste are discharged.

7. A river, lake, ocean, stream or other watercourse into which wastewater or treated effluent is discharged.
8. Include groundwater, creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, or other water bodies that receive treated or untreated wastewater or stormwater. This also includes water from combined sewer systems and storm drains.
