Agricultural runoff

1. That part of the precipitation, snow melt, or irrigation water that appears in uncontrolled surface streams, rivers, drains or sewers and which originates from agricultural land or enterprises. It may contain agricultural wastes such as excess nutrients and animal fecal matter as contaminates.
2. Manure contaminated rainfall which must be stored and utilized on the farm and may not be discharged into rivers, streams, lakes, or other bodies of water.
