Wet Pond

1. Pond for urban runoff management that is designed to detain urban runoff and always contains water.
2. Impoundment that is designed to maintain a permanent pool of stormwater between storm events. A retention basin differs from a detention basin, which is designed to empty between storm events and does not maintain a permanent pool.
