4WS

An automotive steering system where all four wheels of a vehicle can be steered, rather than just the front two. This system enhances maneuverability at low speeds by steering the rear wheels in the opposite direction to the front, and improves stability at high speeds by steering them in the same direction. Early production versions of 4WS appeared in the late 1980s.
