Trailing wheel

A wheelset located at the rear of a locomotive's driving wheels, supporting the cab and firebox. These wheels are not powered and serve to distribute the weight of the locomotive over a larger area, improving stability and reducing axle loads. They are distinct from leading wheels, which are positioned at the front.
