Trailing edge
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006123
The rear edge of an airfoil, such as a wing or a propeller blade, where the airflow that has passed over the upper and lower surfaces rejoins. Control surfaces like ailerons, flaps, and elevators are typically located along the trailing edge of wings and tail surfaces. The shape of the trailing edge significantly impacts aerodynamic efficiency.
