The Trailing Edge, which is the rearmost point of an airfoil, such as a wing, rudder, or propeller blade. Airflow from the upper and lower surfaces of the airfoil meets at this edge. Maintenance inspections focus on the trailing edge to detect cracks, delamination, or damage from impacts, as its sharpness and condition affect aerodynamic performance and control surface effectiveness.
