Centre of lift

The theoretical point on an aircraft's wing or airfoil where the total aerodynamic lift force is considered to act. Its position relative to the center of gravity affects the aircraft's stability and control. For most conventional aircraft, the center of lift is located slightly aft of the leading edge of the wing.
