Stagger

The relative fore-and-aft position of the wings on a biplane or triplane, where the upper wing is either ahead of or behind the lower wing. Positive stagger occurs when the upper wing is forward, while negative stagger means the upper wing is aft. This design influences aerodynamic characteristics such as lift distribution and stall behavior.
