Krueger flap
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003215
A type of leading-edge flap that pivots out from the underside of an aircraft wing to increase lift at low airspeeds. This device extends forward and downward, creating a larger camber and chord for improved aerodynamic performance during takeoff and landing. Unlike a slat, a Krueger flap does not form a slot between itself and the main wing.
