Barfeed

The process of automatically supplying raw bar stock into a machine tool, such as a lathe or turning center, for continuous machining operations. This method eliminates the need for manual loading of individual workpieces, increasing production efficiency. Barfeed systems can be hydraulic, pneumatic, or servo-driven.
