The outer body panel of a pickup truck that forms the side of the cargo bed, extending from the back of the cab to the tailgate. This panel includes the wheel well and is a distinct component from the inner wall of the bed. Bedsides are manufactured from steel or aluminum and are subject to damage from impacts and corrosion.
