Butterfly door

A type of car door that pivots upwards and outwards on hinges near the A-pillar, resembling the wings of a butterfly when open. This design allows for easier entry and exit in confined spaces compared to conventional doors. Butterfly doors are commonly found on high-performance sports cars and supercars.
