B-pillar

The vertical roof support structure located between the front and rear doors of a car, or behind the front door on a two-door vehicle. This pillar provides structural rigidity to the vehicle's body and serves as the mounting point for the front door latch and the rear door hinges. It also houses the seatbelt anchors for the front seats.
