Cattle dock

A raised platform or ramp at a railway station or siding, specifically constructed for the loading and unloading of livestock onto and from railway wagons. These facilities are designed to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of animals. Cattle docks were historically common at rural stations for agricultural transport.
