Gangway

A temporary or permanent walkway, ramp, or narrow bridge providing passage for personnel over obstacles, between structures, or from a dock to a vessel. In agricultural settings, it could be a raised path in a greenhouse, a walkway over sorting equipment, or a ramp for loading livestock. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations specify minimum widths and load capacities for industrial gangways.
