DD
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001580
An abbreviation for daily driver, a vehicle used every day for commuting and errands instead of being kept for weekends, shows or track use. The label describes a car's role rather than its type, so an ordinary sedan, a modified hatchback or an older classic can all be someone's DD. It contrasts with a weekend car or project car, which is driven only occasionally.
