Dead zone

An area within a communication network or system where signal reception is weak or nonexistent, resulting in a loss of connectivity. This can be caused by physical obstructions, interference, or insufficient transmitter power. In cellular networks, dead zones are areas where mobile phones cannot make or receive calls.
