Decade counter

A digital counter circuit designed to count through ten distinct states, returning to its initial state after the tenth count. This type of counter is often implemented using a series of flip-flops and logic gates, producing a BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) output. Decade counters are used in applications requiring decimal counting, such as frequency division or digital display drivers.
