Digital predistortion
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001719
A signal processing technique applied to the input of a power amplifier to compensate for its non-linear characteristics. It intentionally distorts the input signal in a way that, when combined with the amplifier's inherent distortion, results in a more linear output. This method is widely used in wireless communication systems to meet stringent spectral emission masks.
