Factory reset

The restoration of an electronic device's software to its original manufacturer settings, also known as a hard reset or master reset. This process erases all user-installed applications, data, and personalized configurations, returning the device to the state it was in when first purchased. The procedure is initiated through a software menu, a specific key combination during startup, or a dedicated reset button.
