Fillet

A narrow strip of wood, with a concave or triangular cross-section, used to cover a seam or joint between two surfaces. It is also a concave molding applied to soften the transition between two planes meeting at an interior angle. A fillet is a separate piece of material applied to a joint, whereas a chamfer is a beveled edge cut into a single piece of material.
