Four-seater

An informal designation for a vehicle, typically a car or light aircraft, designed with seating for four people including the driver or pilot. In the automotive trade, this describes a common configuration for sedans, coupes, and many compact cars, consisting of two front seats and a rear bench or two bucket seats. For aircraft, a four-seater is a popular category for general aviation planes used for personal travel, flight training, and air taxi services, such as the Cessna 172.
