Four-stroking
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002422
A condition in a two-stroke engine where it intermittently fires every fourth stroke instead of every second stroke, leading to reduced power and an uneven running sound. This occurs when the engine receives too much fuel or not enough air, causing incomplete combustion. It is a common indicator of an improperly tuned carburetor or a partially clogged exhaust system.
